Events for the Columbus Indiana Dog Park Association
I hope everyone had a wonderful time at the last Dog Park for A Day event at Willow Crossing, and I am sure you are wondering when we will have the next one. Well, we are currently in the process of ironing out a schedule with Willow Crossing for the summer/fall, so we can have the event on a regular basis. Check here often to keep up with fundraising events held by CIDPA, Inc. Check out the Dog Park for a Day tab to find out when the next scheduled dog park for a day event is.

Cookbook
Columbus Indiana Dog Park Association is preparing a taste tempting cookbook fundraiser featuring favorite recipes from our members and supporters. We would like two of your favorite recipes so you can be represented in our collection. Your name will be printed with each of your recipes. Each cookbook will contain helpful cooking hints, recipe category dividers, table of contents, and even a section devoted to treats for our furry friends. These cookbooks will be professionally bound in an easy to read format.
Download the recipe submission form in Windows Word or Adobe Pdf format, fill it out, and return it to us by January 1, 2010.

Fair on the Sqaure
Many of you saw our booth at Fair On The Square on June 13th and 20th. Many thanks to those that stopped by to visit or to drop off a donation! A very realistic toy Labrador was raffled off to Madeline Romanski! Congratulations Madeline!
Summer Fundraising
Summer was a busy time for CIDPA! We attended the Q-Mix musical fireworks, had a booth at the Bartholomew County Fair, and spent several Saturday mornings at Fair On The Square. We’ve met many new friends and provided lots of information on the dog park. Thank you for your continued support and donations.
Earlier in the Summer, the Buy a Dog Bowl silent auction was held at the Hotel Indigo. The unique dog bowls went on display May 29th and the event ended with a reception hosted by the staff on June 5th. Thirty four bowls were sold with a total of $1000 raised! Thank you to everyone who made this event possible!
The Wizard of Oz was a fun fundraiser as well. A special thank you to The Pet Nanny for sponsoring this event.
Fundraising remains crucial as we build the funds necessary to purchase and install our fence. For more information on how to donate or to volunteer, please visit our website for details, www.columbuslovesdogs.com
